Local business owners are gearing up for the third annual Beckenham Business Day later this month.
The event, which is organised by Beckenham Business Association (BBA), will take place on Thursday, September 27 at the Odeon Cinema on the High Street and will be opened by the Mayor of Bromley Cllr Kim Botting and her consort Cllr Mike Botting.
The business day is being supported by Beckenham Together BID and will include inspirational and expert speakers, stands, workshops and networking on a number of business topics, aimed at helping businesses to develop and grow.
There will also be an update on the Beckenham Together Business Improvement District (BID) and speed networking sessions.
Chair of the BBA, Jackie Groundsell, said: “Beckenham Business Association is delighted to provide this action-packed day for Beckenham businesses. With so much happening in the town currently, Beckenham Business Day is the icing on the cake for businesses based or trading here.”
There will also be a raffle in support of MindCare Dementia Support, part of Bromley and Lewisham Mind, a charity which helps provides support to help adults with dementia stay in their homes and local communities.
Raffle prizes include City Cruise Showboat tickets, a year’s membership to 1230 TWC, travel vouchers from ATO Tours, a month’s hotdesking at Desk Team, an hour’s mentoring session from CNT Associates and an hour’s PR session with Two Heads PR.
The business day is free for BBA Members and just £25 to non-members, which includes one year’s membership of BBA. Visitors are also welcome at a cost of £10, which doesn’t include BBA membership. On-the-door tickets will be available on the day at a cost of £35.
