Beckenham Fireworks is back and this year’s extravaganza promises to be bigger and better than ever.
This year’s event, which will take place on Saturday, 4 November at Croydon Road Recreation Ground, will include more stalls, a bigger funfair and even more fireworks blasting into the sky.
The Beckenham Fireworks display, which has been running for more than 70 years, is a popular annual attraction among locals.
Last year the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group took over the organisation from the local Round Table and they have continued the tradition of using the profits to support local charities.
Food stalls this year include burgers, jerk chicken, pulled pork as well as warm beverages. They’ll be serving from 5pm and the rides and stalls will be running all evening until the end of the fireworks.
Gates open at 5pm for a quieter autism-friendly display at 6pm that is also ideal for younger children. The bigger display will take place at 7.45pm.
Primary school kids get in for free but must be accompanied by an adult and an under 18 ticket costs £5. Adult tickets are £10 and a family of two adults and two teenagers or one adult and three teenagers is £20.
