Two men have been arrested after a man was assaulted close to Birkbeck station.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 4.40pm on Sunday, December 2 to reports of an injured man in Samos Road, near the junction with Marlow Road.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 20-year-old mansuffering from a head injury.
A 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were subsequently arrested in Samos Road on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. The younger male was also arrested on suspicion of no insurance.
They were taken to a south London police station and have subsequently been bailed to return on a date in late-December.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital but his injuries
are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police enquiries are continuing.
