A Beckenham scout group is on the lookout for volunteers as they prepare to host the annual Family Easter Egg Hunt.
The egg hunt – which will take place next to the Bowie Bandstand in Croydon Road Recreation Ground on Good Friday (March 30) – is this year being run by the 5th Beckenham South scout group.
Families roam all over the park on a treasure hunt and at the end every child leaves with a chocolate treat. There will also be food and craft stalls including waffles, a hog roast, ice cream van a candy stall and more. All proceeds from the event will go to a range of local charities.
Volunteers are needed between 10am and 2pm to work on the admin desk, covertly hide treasure around the park and most importantly give out prizes at the end of the hunt.
